He loved to do woodworking in later years and built many things without patterns. He built the small barn that sits at 920 N. Main and did it all by himself! Archie and Viola took many vacations and one day road trips. He loved taking care of mowing his lawn. He loved all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Archie and Viola adopted two granddaughters and raised them as their very own.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, many aunts and uncles, and mother and father in law, Elmo and Eva Exline.
