Charlotte Mae (Stone) Draman, 67, of Casey, Iowa passed away August 31, 2022, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Johnson Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Stuart Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Dalmanutha Cemetery, rural Casey. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charlotte Draman Memorial Fund. Charlotte was born April 13, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa to Harold Kenneth and Vivian Arlene (Tolle) Stone. She attended Urbandale schools and graduated from Madrid High School with the class of 1973. After graduating, Charlotte worked at Coca-Cola and Plumb Supply in Des Moines. She met her husband via CB Radio and when they met it was love at first sight. She and Raymond Draman were married on October 12, 1991, in Urbandale and together they made their home in Casey, Iowa where they raised their three children. Following their marriage, Charlotte went to work at Farm Bureau where she had worked for the past 20 years. She also worked part-time at Hy-Vee and Zipps Pizza in Adair. She enjoyed making tie blankets for all her family members, garage sales, family vacations, margaritas, wine tasting especially if they had her sweet Moscato, baking and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Vivian, her beloved husband, Raymond, son, Christopher and brother-in-law, Robert “Bob” Draman.
Charlotte leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Daniel (Sarah) Draman and Megan (Daylan) Kleen, grandchildren, Kacen Draman, Kooper Kleen, Myla Draman and Hadleigh Kleen; brother’s Kenneth (Darla) Stone and David Stone; her beloved cat, Lilly; long-time friend, Brenda Veasman and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends all who will miss her greatly.
