Chris Lemke, 48, of Adair passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at his home. Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, November 16th at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will be at Dalmanutha Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.johnsonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
Chris was in a hurry to get into the world being born in the back seat of the Ford LTD to Carl and Shirley Lemke. Chris grew up enjoying skating and spending time with his friends.
Chris was an avid hunter, and enjoyed his time deer hunting and trapping. He displayed several of his “trophies” on the walls in his room. He did not let his handicap stop him from doing what he enjoyed.
He was taken care of by his mom and dad after his accident, then returned the favor by taking care of his mom and dad in their later years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Lemke and niece, Emmah Aldrich.
He leaves behind his mother, Shirley Lemke; siblings: Roxane (Kevin) Power, Rosalie (John) Tunink, Debbie Jackson, Lenard (Susan) Lemke, Edward (Barb) Lemke, Kyle Lemke and Carla Aldrich; several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends that will miss him dearly.
