Born a poor miserable sinner Sept 20th, 1950 to Darold and Bethel Perkins in Waseca MN. She became a child of God Oct 8th 1950, when she was baptized at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waseca MN.

Christine was the oldest of 7 kids; Kathy (Merle) Aanrud, Colette (Lynn) Krenik , Gary (Sally) Perkins, Chuck (Sarah) Perkins, Karil (Marvin) Berndt, , and Curt (Julie) Perkins.

She renewed her Christian vows March 22nd, 1962 when she was confirmed at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waseca. She graduated from Janesville High school in 1969 and received Bachelor’s degree in Education from Iowa State University in 1983.

She met her husband, Edward John Eustice in high school and were married on Nov 14th, 1969 at The Newman Center in Mankato MN.

Chris and Ed moved to Granger Iowa in 1978 where they raised their 6 children.

Christine educated children at Madrid Elementary School in Madrid Iowa for 30 plus years. Her passion for teaching also lead her to teach Sunday school for 15 plus years at St Peter Lutheran Church in Grimes and 5 years at Zion Lutheran church in Dexter. She was always proud to be a teacher and for the opportunity to make an impact on her students but she absolutely loved the day she retired.

She leaves behind Her Husband Edward Eustice of 50 years and six kids who she was extremely proud of, Rhonda (Brian) Weber, Rheba Wilmes, Renata Eustice (Brennan) Cleveland, Reagan (Shane) Smith, Rylie (Paul) DeLong and Edward Jr. (Autumn) Eustice. She always bragged that her greatest achievement in her life was her children. If you knew the Eustice Family would agree she did a great job instilling in her children the meaning of Faith and Family. She will be deeply missed by her 14 grandchildren that she adored; Jordan (Dana), Wyatt, Shelby, Allie, Anna, Shannon, Dara, Hayden, Hudson, Dana, Hank, Willow, Weslynn, Eustice and great grandchildren Emma, Hannah and Madeline. Christine was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife who taught her family: to love the Lord, have faith, to fish, be goofy, give hugs, laugh at yourself, cheer for the underdog, enjoy each other, and to just be thankful! Her legacy will live through them. But it is her absence that the family is filled with deep sorrow and pain, for they know no one will love them as much as she did.

Christine led a good life and lived daily with the mentality of “put it in God’s Hands”. From work, to marriage, to raising her kids and in the end her battle with cancer. She always had faith and a positive outlook. It was because of this mentality that allowed her to accept and battle cancer for a little over 4 years. We are certain she did not lose her battle with cancer; she had always said her battle with cancer was a Win-Win. “Either I get to stay here longer with my family, or I get to go to heaven, God Is Good”. She will be greeted in heaven by her mother Bethel and father Darold, mother in law Eileen Eustice, Father in law Herb Eustice , younger brother Chuck her grandson Dalton and 3 brother in laws Doug Yentsch ,Terry Biehn and Marvin Berndt

Christine is now waiting peaceably for Jesus second coming and eternal life.
