Clifford Scott Wadle, 60, of Redfield passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 4 - 5:30 P.M. on Friday, February 16th at the Johnson Family Funeral Home with a celebration of life service beginning at 5:30 P.M. Cliff was born on June 24, 1963 to Clifford and Joan (Tomes) Wadle in Des Moines, Iowa. He grew up in St. Mary’s, Iowa before moving to Redfield in 1976. While in Redfield, he graduated from Dexfield High School with the class of 1981. Cliff spent many years working at Farm Bureau, Quality Turf Care of Iowa (the company he started), Gilcrest Jewett, before lastly working as a handyman. Cliff was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Iowa Hawkeyes. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time outdoors including: fishing, hunting, camping, kayaking and canoeing.
He leaves behind his sons: Mitchell Wadle of Dexter and Carson Wadle of Waukee; parents, Clifford J. and Joan Wadle of Redfield; siblings: Denise (Joe) Wadle of Huxley, Diane (Russ) Howe of Toledo, Mary Ann (Roger) Jobst of Royal and Gary (Brenda) Wadle of Waukee; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that will miss him dearly.
