Evelyn L. Joint, 89, of Stuart passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Stuart Community Care Center. No services are planned at this time. Evelyn was born March 15, 1925 to Clarence and May (Stapes) Trent near Dexter, Iowa. She was blessed with four sons and one daughter. She worked various jobs and last retired from Fawn Engineering in Des Moines. In her spare time she enjoyed raising her children and doing various activities with her friends. She lived in the Stuart and lastly Menlo before residing at the Stuart Community Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter: Sharon Joint.
She leaves behind her sons, Rick (friend – Terry) Joint of West Point, Ronnie (Pam) Joint of North Port, Florida, Mike Joint of Menlo and Chuck (Nodja) Joint of Springfield, Missouri; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends that will miss her dearly.
