Jack Kinkennon, 80, of Earlham passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Thomas Rest Haven in Coon Rapids. The family will host a celebration of life from 2-4 P.M. on Sunday, November 24th at the Earlham Community Center. Online condolences may be left at www.johnsonfamilyfuneralhome.com
Jack was born on October 24, 1944 to Leo and Olive Kinkennon in Earlham, Iowa. He attended Earlham schools and graduated from Earlham High School with the class of 1963. Following graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served honorably in the Vietnam War. Once returning home he worked at R & D Engineering and Ziegler. In addition to that he owned several buildings in downtown Earlham. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting antiques and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Olive Kinkennon; and his wife, Veda Kinkennon.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Adam); grandchildren: Natasha, Dalton, Hanna, Jordon (Ali), Whitney (Joe), Kendra (Brian); 12 great-grandchildren; great friends, Kent and Sandra Carlson; and many close friends.
