He was born September 21, 1915 in Menlo, Iowa to William and Bessie (Foglesong) Brinton.
He married Gertrude (Gertie) Fritz of Dexter in 1948 at Zion Lutheran Church. Kenny served his church in many capacities and was an active member until moving to the Stuart Community Care Center in early 2012. He was a career farmer; first with his father on the family farm south of Menlo and then where he and Gertrude farmed southwest of Dexter.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Cora Brinton, brother Wilbur, and his beloved wife, Gertie. Survivors include nephews Don Brinton and Bob Brinton of Cheyenne, Wyoming, niece Karen Dennis of South Carolina, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Also left to mourn Kenny's passing are longtime friends, Jerry & Eleanor Stiles of Dexter and Glen & Marilyn Patience of Winterset and their family.
Kenny's family greatly appreciates the loving care he received from the wonderful staff at the Stuart Community Care Center.
