Lane Robert Brown, 23, of Stuart, Iowa passed away suddenly on February 5, 2023, at his home. Cremation has taken place and a gathering of friends and family will be held at 5:00 P.M. Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Stuart Depot. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family and may be sent to Johnson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PO Box 246, Stuart, Iowa 50250. Lane was born May 4, 1999 in Enid, Oklahoma to Alonzo Brown, Jr and Kristina Bolam. He grew up in Ponca, Newkirk and Perry, Oklahoma before graduating from Wellington High School in Wellington, Kansas. While in high school Lane excelled in wrestling, track, and band. After graduating, Lane continued living in and around Wellington until moving to Stuart, Iowa to be close to his dad, Alonzo. After moving to Stuart, Lane went to work at Rose Acre Farms Inc. where he had worked for the last 1 ½ years. Lane was very artistic and enjoyed drawing. He also enjoyed playing video games, watching animated movies and shows, and spending time with his family and friends. Lane was described by his mother as a beautiful soul and by his brother as expressive and thoughtful.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandpa Alonzo Brown Sr., uncle Kevin Bolam and cousin Brian Brown.
Lane leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father Alonzo Brown Jr, mother Kristina (Michael Fuller) Bolam, brother Alonzo Brown III, sister Cheyenne Brown; paternal grandparents Patrick and Robin Gilbert, maternal grandparents Robert and June Bolam; extended family Rachel Patrick, Katelyn Mosquera, Rodney Blaha, and Allison Blaha and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.
