Obituary for Lynn C. Love
Lynn C. Love, 76, of Redfield, Iowa passed away January 29, 2022, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 4, 2022, at the Johnson Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Stuart. Funeral services will follow the service at 2:00 P.M. at the Johnson Family Funeral Home & Crematory. Lynn was born December 14, 1945, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was adopted at an early age by Marion and Edith (Adams) Caldwell. She grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Valley High School with the class of 1963. Lynn was united in marriage to James W. Love on January 25, 1969, in Omaha, Nebraska and together they were the proud parents of: Chris, Tony, Wendy, Bill and Crystal. Following their marriage, they made their home north of Redfield. Throughout Lynn’s life she worked for the Redfield Brickyard, AMF and Casey’s. She was best known however for running Love’s Shear Delight in Redfield as a local beautician. When she wasn’t spending time with her children and grandchildren, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, fishing, playing slots at the casino and taking trips to South Dakota to the Hart Ranch Resort.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Edith Caldwell, beloved husband, James Love in 2021, daughter, Kathy Sigmund, newphew, Clinton Love and niece, Kelly Snyder.
Lynn leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved children, children: Chris (Julie) Love and their children, Joe, Seth, Roy, Ashley and Michaela, Tony Love and his children, Tonya, Austin and Mya, Wendy (Bill) Clark and their daughters, Tabatha and Tiffany, William Love and his children: Elijah, Starlette, Christian, Autumn and Isaiah, and Crystal (Lance) Scott and their children: Natasha, Preston, Chelsea and Zackery; great-grandchildren: Grayson, Ayden, Skylar, Colton, Katie, Evan, Ethan, Aiden, Audri, Trenton, Brylan, Addaline, Willow, Aubree, Zoey, Oliver, Stella, Jase, Kyler, Nevaeh Peyton and Hadleigh; sister, Sharon (Alan) Heggen and her daughter, Jodi (Dale) Lyddon and a host of other family members and friends all of whom will miss her greatly.
