Obituary for Mary F. Beaman
Mary F. (Madesen) Beaman, 66, of Stuart passed away April 30, 2015 at the Greenfield Manor in Greenfield, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the All Saints Catholic Church in Stuart. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church and burial will follow in Dalmanutha Cemetery, Rural Guthrie County. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Beaman Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home, PO Box 246, Stuart, Iowa 50250. Mary was born February 18, 1949 in Atlantic, Iowa to Max Earl and Mary Laverne Glasscock Madesen. She grew up in Stuart and graduated from Stuart High School with the class of 1967, Mary was united in marriage to Ronald George Beaman on December 29, 1970 in Fontenelle, Iowa and together they became the proud parents of five children, Tamra, Charles, Wayne, Christopher and Mathew. After their marriage they lived in Germany and Texas where Ronald was stationed, before Mary moved back to Stuart to make her home. Mary was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church, Alter Society and a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, fishing, camping, watching westerns, but most of all, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Mary Madesen and one sister, Maxine Wierrick.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Tamra (Greg) Sheeder of Orient, Iowa, Charles (Christina) Beaman of Adel, Iowa, Wayne Beaman of Stuart, Iowa, Christopher Beaman (Melody) Beaman of Boscobel, Wisconsin, and Mathew Beaman of Lorimer, Iowa; grandchildren, Robert Stubbs, Brian Stubbs, Heather Dixson, Mark Beaman, Nichole Beaman, Rebecca Beaman, Kyle Johnston, Douglas Collins, Justin Collins, Chelsea Collins, and Lauren Beaman; great grandchildren, Star Dixson, Madelyn Collins and great grandchild on the way; one brother Mark Madesen of Stuart; sister-in-law, Rose Beaman of Creston and a host of nieces, nephews and friends all of whom will miss her greatly.
