Obituary for Patricia Ann McMullin
Patricia Ann McMullin, 63, of Stuart, formerly of Des Moines, passed away March 4, 2018 at Methodist West Hospital. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 9, at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Stuart. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 10 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Dexter. Burial will follow the service in Dexter City Cemetery. Memorial contribution may be made to the Patricia McMullin Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home, PO box 246, Stuart, Iowa 50250. Patricia was born in Dexter, Iowa to Clyde David and Marjorie Mae (Hill) McMullin on April 7, 1954, her beloved Mother’s birthday. She attended Dexfield Community Schools and graduated from there in 1972. She attended the Iowa Lutheran School of Radiologic Technology where she became a certified Radiology Technician. Patricia was employed by Iowa Lutheran Hospital and later by Principal Financial Insurance Company in Des Moines. She retired in 2009.
Patricia enjoyed growing up on the family farm west of Redfield, Iowa with cattle, horses and everyday farm life. Always a great conversationalist, Patricia, never met a stranger and loved having her friends stop by for visits.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde & Marjorie McMullin.
Surviving are her daughter, Shannon Behnken of Menlo; grandchildren, Trinity and Izabella Behnken; brother Jeff (Lori) McMullin of Urbandale; niece, Leslie; nephew, Sean; many cousins and a host of friends.
