Pat was born on March 19, 1958 to Samuel and Sharon (Clifton) Ketchum in Canon City, Colorado. He grew up in Canon City and graduated from Canon City High School with the Class of 1976. He was united in marriage to Cris Palmer on July 11, 1992 in Craig, Colorado. The couple later moved to Casey where they made their home since 1995. Pat was employed by the State of Iowa Department of Transportation for the last 15+ years as a Bridge Inspector. He was a member of the Casey Fire Department for 10 years and a motorcycle riding group.
In his spare time he enjoyed working in his garage, riding his motorcycle and attending car shows. He loved tinkering with anything mechanical, shooting guns, golfing, and helping Cris with her crafts. Most of all he treasured the time he was able to spend with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; brother, Marty and son, Zack Brown.
Pat leaves behind his loving wife, Cris of Casey; children: Matt (Amy) Ketchum of Pueblo, CO, Rachel Ketchum of Pueblo West, CO, Ben (Jolene) Ketchum of Casey and Chad Diorio of Michigan; grandchildren: David, Julie, Erinn, Will, Lani, James, Marie, and Katelynn; brothers, Spud and Kent Ketchum; and a host of extended family and friends that will miss him dearly
