Obituary for Wayne Sharon
Wayne LeRoy Sharon, 89, of Stuart, formerly of Guthrie Center, Iowa passed away October 13, 2017. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 17 in the Monteith Cemetery in rural Guthrie County. Online condolences may be left at www.johnsonfamilyfuneralhome.com.

Wayne was born August 31, 1928 in Monteith, Iowa to Ray Alfred and Rosa Margaret (Siedelman) Sharon. The family lived in Menlo, before making their home on a farm outside of Stuart. Wayne attended Menlo School. He moved to Des Moines where he lived until moving to Country View Estates in Guthrie Center. Wayne worked for the rail road for a few years before being employed at a truck stop in Des Moines. Wayne enjoyed coloring pictures of animals especially of horses. He also enjoyed carving horses from wood.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Ray and Rosa Sharon, siblings, Earl Sharon, Samuel Sharon, Bernard Sharon, Marvin Sharon, Gerald Sharon, Ilene Jackson and infant Hazel Sharon.

He leaves behind his siblings, Beulah Ezell of Ankeny, Mildred Kimbro of Des Moines, Dorothy Egger of Waukee, Howard Sharon of Des Moines and Wilma Nicholas of Arizona. (Arrangements: Johnson Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Stuart Chapel).
