Obituary for Dolores Carol Marsh Cave
Dolores Carol (Chase) Marsh Cave, 87 of Redfield passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the Community Care Center in Stuart. Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. on Monday, November 29th at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Stuart. Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, November 30th at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will be at the Wiscotta Cemetery near Redfield. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Stuart Community Care Center Foundation. Online condolences may be left at www.johnsonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
Dolores was born on August 23, 1934 to Harry and Anna (Henek) Chase in Phillips, Wisconsin. She grew up in Phillips where she attended school and graduated from high school. She later moved to Iowa where she resided in Adel for 16 years and later made her home in Redfield in 1975. While in Redfield she was a longtime member of the Redfield Christian Church. She lived in Redfield until 2016 when she moved to the Stuart Community Care Center. She was united in marriage to Donald Marsh and to this union seven children were born: John, Gene, Dawn, Debra, Sandy, Larry and Tammi.
In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, watching Hallmark movies, playing cards and visiting with friends and family. Most of all, she treasured time she was able to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Anna Chase; husband, Donald Marsh; husband, Bernie Cave; brother, Bob Chase; brothers-in-law, Gary Liesenfelder and Don Sutton.
She leaves behind her children: John Marsh of Guthrie Center, Gene (Gretchen) Marsh of Menlo, Dawn (Terry) Pruitt of Stuart, Debra (Tony) Wagers of Stuart, Sandy (Paul) Lienemann of Waukee, Larry (Xenia) Marsh of Redfield and Tammi (Gary) Hollingsworth of Lombard, IL; grandchildren: Lucas Marsh, Ben Marsh, Michael Marsh, Vickie Boots, Kristie Hansen, Joshua Pruitt, Brandon Pruitt, Tony Wagers, Jeffery Lienemann, Thomas Lienemann, Conner Hollingsworth and Jada Marsh Stearns; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ruth Sutton of Phillips, WI, Judy Liesenfelder of West Bend, WI and Gary (Cindy) Chase of Phillips, WI; sister-in-law, Audrey Chase of New Berlin, WI; and a host of extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.
