Obituary for Noble Kenneth "Kenny" Ezell
Noble Kenneth “Kenny” Ezell, 84, of Stuart passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 11th at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Stuart. Family will greet guests one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Monteith Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Kenny Ezell Memorial Fund and sent in care of the funeral home. Kenny was born March 24, 1931 to Noble and Lena (Launius) Ezell in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. Following graduation he worked at a grain elevator, AMF Factory for 20 years and tended to his farm ground. Kenny enjoyed being outdoors. He raised cattle and hogs throughout the years. Kenny owned farms near Patterson and Redfield.
Kenny, was united in marriage to Beulah Sharon in Stuart, Iowa. The couple enjoyed traveling, wintering in Arizona and Branson, camping, dancing, listening to music and playing cards with friends. Kenny was especially talented with woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Stephen K. Ezell; and step-son, Gary Hanke.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Beulah; children, Cynthia Main, Kim Anderson, Allison (Kyle) Simmons, Michael Ezell, Andrew Ezell, Donna Reese, David Hanke; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
