Preceding her in death were her two younger brothers, James William and Carl Lloyd, in a bullying episode gone bad at the Stuart Pond in 1942. Also, preceding her in death were all of her parents, her beloved husband Carl, and her two sister-in-law’s Bernice Tigges and Mildred Hansen. Betty is survived by 6 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews, a multitude of cousins and friends. Betty and Carl never had children of their own but many four legged babies.
