Dennis was born on February 20, 1955 to Ross and Mary (Lane) Morgan in Aberdeen, Maryland while his father was stationed in the military there. The family later moved to Honolulu, Hawaii before finally settling on the family farm south of Stuart. Growing up he was active in wrestling and playing the saxophone in the band. Dennis graduated from Stuart-Menlo High School with the class of 1973. Following graduation he attended SWCC and then began helping his father on the farm full-time.
On August 20, 1976 he was united in marriage to Louise Snell at All Saints Catholic Church in Stuart. To this union four children were born: Jenny, James, Michelle, and Mike. The family made their home on the family farm. Dennis then worked maintenance for West Central Valley Schools for 25 years until his recent retirement in 2017. He thoroughly enjoyed working hard to maintain the grounds and help with anything that he could at the schools. Dennis was also a member of the Stuart Utilities Board. He loved cars and collecting sports memorabilia. His most cherished memories came from spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
